The Education Division at the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum seeks to educate the general public about Seminoles through tours, programs, instructional resources and partnerships with outside organizations; thereby providing information and inspiring an understanding of the rich culture and history of the Seminole people.
DESCRIPTION

Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum Tours

Seminole Indian History

Education Division provides guided tours and programming at the Museum. Standard tours are focused more toward adult and senior audiences. For younger groups, we have integrated a variety of methods into our tours, which include crafts, stickball game, and touchable artifacts. Our Division is also responsible for the scheduling of all on-site and off-site events for the museum, as well as the development of programming and educational resources for the general public.

We are composed of six full-time staff members. The Education Coordinator oversees the education staff, development of programming, and other projects as assigned. The Assistant Education Coordinator is responsible for scheduling all museum events in the calendar and coordinating the preparations needed for those events. Tour Guides are responsible conducting tours and preparing the materials for those tours.
