The Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum at Okalee is proud to present Jackpot! Seminole Gaming From Then Until Now. This exhibit focuses on the concepts of tribal sovereignty and the institution of gaming as an economic force in todayâ€™s American Indian tribes.

Visitors will learn about legislation that has affected tribal sovereignty in the United States, and the landmark Supreme Court decisions that still protect tribal interests today. Special attention is given to the economic and cultural benefits of gaming on a national scale, as well as within the Seminole Tribe. Individual mention is made regarding the Seminole Tribe of Floridaâ€™s acquisition of Hard Rock International.

This exhibit will be on view at the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum at Okalee from October 19, 2007 - January 4, 2008.
