Stroll through the exhibits within the Seminole Center at the Seminole Casino Hotel in Immokalee for this one day event. Admission is free, watch artist demonstrate a variety of different mediums. The Seminole Artist Experience art sale features fine art by Native American artists from the Seminole Tribe of Florida. View original works of art by Artists Elgin Jumper, Samuel Tommie, Tyler Tigertail, William Cypress and more. Seminole traditional handcrafts from original artist will also be joining us selling and display

The Seminole Artist Experience Art Sale will be the third event of the series. The first event kicked off at the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum in Big Cypress in July. The August event was held at our satellite location in Hollywood at the Seminole Okalee Indian Village. On October 1, 2022, the third event will be held at the Seminole Casino Hotel in Immokalee inside the Seminole Center.

This free event will showcase featured artists as they demonstrate live paintings, exhibit original works, hand crafts such as Seminole Sweetgrass basketmaking, and other traditional native Florida Seminole artists works. Listening to live musical soundscapes and oral traditions as it will channel the flow of the true creative experience.

Enjoy fresh traditional favorite dishes from Seminole food vendors, and the Seminole Immokalee community's talent authentic artisans craft vendors, , and more!

Directions

From Fort Myers: Take I-75 to exit #138 east (Highway 82) till it dead ends into Highway 29 (Main Street - Immokalee) turn right on Hwy 29 and go to the fifth traffic light (First Street) then make a right onto First Street. The Casino is located approximately five blocks down on the left.

From Bonita: Take I-75 to exit #123 east (Corkscrew Road) till it dead ends into State Road 82, turn right on 82 till it dead ends into Highway 29, turn right on Hwy 29 (Main Street - Immokalee) go to the fifth traffic light (First Street) and make a right onto First Street. The Casino is located approximately five blocks down on the left.

From Naples or Marco Island: Take I-75 to exit #111 East (Immokalee Road) approximately 30 miles. The Casino will be on the right as you enter the town of Immokalee.

About Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum

The Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum opened in 1997 and is owned and operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. Situated in the Everglades on a 66-acre cypress dome on the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation, the museum offers more than 5,000 square feet of gallery space. Exhibits feature rare artifacts and lifelike dioramas that depict Seminole life at the turn of the century. In 2009, the Museum became the first tribally governed museum to be accredited by the American Association of Museums.
